Marvel Studios’ latest Disney+ series Wonder Man has already fallen out of Luminate’s top 10 list after a single week and woke Marvel fans are not happy about it.
I'm watching it. I think it's a decent story and good acting. My beef is that it isn't historic Wonderman. Clearly it's inspired by him, but that's about it. I suspect this would have received a better reception if it had just been presented as a whole new superhero. I suspect Wonderman is suffering from a generalized -- and not unjustified -- rage directed at all things MCU, and it got caught up in the maelstrom. It's the Solo of Marvel.
I was half-paying attention when I saw the headline and thought it said "Blunder Man." Turns out I was half-right.
I will never watch Reggin Man. I'd rather watch Captain Durag. People on Criticless praised it, but that dark dude is not Simon Williams.
Just tweets of loser teenagers mad at the general population for not loving poorly traced tyler perry material passed off as… Marvel.
Shitty women and bipoc dei hire executives. This garbage is all on them. All the worthless kathy kennedy protégés.
Who? Never heard of Wonder Man.
Old school Marvel character & Avenger from the mid 60s. Something else for the current owners to ruin.
Advertisement for Wonder Man was out in the wild. No one cared. It really is that simple.
