Widow’s Bay walked away from the 78th Emmy Awards with six statuettes, more than any other program that night, and made Matthew Rhys the first actor in Emmy history to win lead-acting awards across all three major genre categories, drama, comedy, and limited series, over the course of his career.
The priest was weak, the church weak... the paganism is all powerful.
I did like the show, but also quite frustrated with the continual castration of the Church in any story. Christians beat paganism whenever we rose to the challenge. But now we are being emasculated over and over in these fake stories and witches are on the rise, via their fake premises. I can't wait for the Crusaders, Knights, Inquisitors and Protestant Witch Hunters to RISE AGAIN.
This TV show is a rare and unique example of a story that doesn’t pander to left or right and just tells a good story - respecting the characters, the story and the audience.
My brother in Christ... their most famous shows are overwhelmingly led by straight white men: Ted Lasso, Severance, Shrinking, Your Friends and Neighbors, Slow Horses, The Studio... I liked Presumed Innocent but what do you think about Jake Gyllenhaal being married to a black woman?

because pagans are telling the stories.
"Christians beat paganism whenever we rose to the challenge"? Do you mean relgiously justified wars and genocide?
I mean... The Truth up against slavery, human sacrifice, torture, conquest, festering drug addled murderers... You know, just like today.
This season Ted gets to coach a big crop of Lesbians in a Female Soccer league.
