Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan (the original, not the remake) came back to answer one of those what-ifs. What if we left Khan and his band of galactic terrorists alone on a life sustaining planet for twenty years, but we didn't do a complete survey before we dropped them there?
Yes, Stories had consequences. Something that doesn't happen anymore.
Oh no, we killed Data, don't worry, we have a prototype body to put him in.
I always wondered why they brought data back, as they weren't going to make any more movies with the TNG cast.
The vision of Gene Roddenberry was fine as far as it went, but what made the original STAR TREK such a stand out was Gene Coon. Some of the best episodes? STAR TREK THE ANIMATED SERIES. Amazing writing, plot development, and incredible ideas explored. And all put into a tight half hour. Even with the cheap animation, repetitive soundtrack, and the flat acoustics of the voice actors recordings it remains light years ahead of THE NEXT GENERATION or any iteration of STAR TREK that followed (with the exception of some of the comic book stories and novels, which are usually not canon anyway).
Backed! Ebooks and paperbacks! They’ll be here tomorrow right? ;)
Well as soon as the campaign closes I'll deliver out the ebooks :) About as fast as I can get going! Then it's up to the printer proofs and the like!
Oh no worries. I’m just excited. I know it will take a while all good.

They shouldn't have. That kinda ruined the movie.
These sound amazing! Looking forward to reading them!
Thank you!

Not into comics, but I tipped a bit and support this project!
These aren't comics, they're novels!
Oh shit! Good, looking forward to them!
Yeah I'm banned from all the crowdfunding sites except FundMyComic haha
Advice: if you ever find yourself thinking, “Hey, what if an android crewman gets a cat?”—just don’t.
Looking forward to reading. Thank you!
