Good and true. Marry that advice with the beautiful.
AND - choose your villains to induce subconscious aversions. Why do you experience brain freezes and resets in people you talk to? What put those things there? That’s the other half of the puzzle, and it’s done through both the hero and villain sides of the story.
Letting the psychopath villain live instead of killing him is just one of the more heavy-handed examples. Now tie that induced aversion programming to lesser examples like remigration.
This is one of those 'hidden gems' that sadly won't get anywhere near enough attention.
My first thought concluding this article was if, for example, Elon is really interested in going to Mars, for a few billion dollars, he could produce 20 - 50 movies over the course of a few years that would support a) a proper culture and b) exploring (specifically Mars). Why not have a whole miniseries about life on Mars, using SpaceX technology to get there, etc. Maybe even have earth hit by a huge asteroid or comet and Mars remains the bastion of humanity and perhaps is able to send rescue/support back to earth. Many possibilities there to express his philosophy. The first ones would be crap, but over time, one could evolve a cadre of good producers/actors/scriptwriters.
Exactly the same would apply to the Christian conservative worldview. There are a few that are trying to do that already, but it seems like they tend to go wobbly pretty fast. Probably due being reliant on too many liberals for the infrastructure. But there are a number of really good conservative Christian actors out there that would jump at the chance to do something not culturally or morally bankrupt.
Many early and successful attempts to tell their story come to mind. The Shop Around The Corner from the 1940's shows a working woman. While extraordinarily tame by today's standard, it wasn't at the time.
Art should edify, uplift and inspire.
