Dan Slutt and Brian Michael Bend-ass will attend, and when it's over, they'll go back to their shared hotel room for blumpkins and a Dirty Sanchez or two.
If they put Dan Slott there (someone who has also damaged ASMs reputation to a lesser extent) then they could have had JMS too. It’s not like the title would be better for it regardless of who is writing it nowadays. ASM is a nothing burger of a title and one that hasn’t been any good since JMS’s run prior to One More Day (which I fully credit to Joe Quesada).
Probably because he’s a bit of a Prima Donna. He always has the excuse of claiming he’s just such a busy guy, what with all his other projects…but that never seems to stop him from starting new one (to walk away from). I obviously don’t hold the guy in very high esteem.

Why did Straczynski keep walking off leaving his stories unfinished?

I've noticed that this happens a lot. A person signs up for more than they can do, then screams when something goes wrong.
I remember a time when comic books were fun to read.
Thanks for reminding me why I quit reading anything from Marvel or DC years ago. The final straw back then was the Spider-Man clone arc.
The whole story seems fitting.
Eff him.
