It sounds like a disgraceful treatment of the late Robert Jordan's work. I read the series back in the day and homosexuality was not the driving force behind his epic, and often meandering, tale.

Hollywood's hold over entertainment is coming to an end and when it does, the ideologues will have no way to force their ideas and beliefs onto others. I have nothing against gays but what Hollywood claims as representation has been promotion. In the real world, 1/4th to 1/3rd of the population are not gay. 100lb women do not toss around 200lb men like rag dolls. IOne thing I respected Marvel for was doing Black Widow right. Yes she was tossing large men around but not simply picking them up like as if she was stronger then is possible but doing it as a trained fighter would, using their weight and movement against them.
