I only saw season 1, I was barely aware there a season 2 even existed. The show I saw was okay, but I had the same reaction to it I had to the book - amusing, sometimes quoteworthy, interesting, but I always had mixed feelings. A little too "evil is fun, virtue is oppressive," with Heaven being little more than an arrogant bureaucracy (a redundant term, but there it is).
One could use Good Omens as a springboard for interesting and serious questions, but I'm afraid most of its fanbase (in line with the author) is primarily interested in heaping contempt on traditional Christianity, and if they took the show to blatant gay propaganda, there's little point in trying.
The "angels" are gay? SMH. Only watched season 1 it was ok but missed 2 & 3. Thank God.
Oh, boy. Glad I missed it.

I was obsessed with Sandman in the late 80's and thought Neil was one of the best comics writers ever. So sad that he turned out to be garbage.
