Nintendo is slow to change. It may take awhile before Nintendo Japan puts the foot down on Nintendo America.

Let's not forget when Mario Thousand Year Door came out a bunch of American localizers came in and rewrote the entire story...

If I recall, this Zelda game also uses they-them for the plant creatures, the Deku. IMO, it's not a flattering form of inclusion when they-thems are all freaks. More of an admission that deep down everyone knows it's abnormal and weird to pretend your body does not have a biological sex.

Nintendo so needs to get their American division out of Washington state.

I always thought Tri was she. 🤣 in my head I called her she and read they as she.

I mean, Tears of the Kingdom (Switch, 2023) was occult top to bottom, rebooting the sage character Rauru who was originally a rotund old Hylian man with a handlebar mustache in Ocarina of Time (N64, 1998) as an explicit reference to Baphomet, appearing totally different now (and with no explanation why) as a goatman married to a (human) Hylian woman.

It's kind of nutty how the latest major (or penultimate) Switch installment of the Zelda series is blatantly and unabashedly Satanic really. There are some hilarious and astute reviews of Tears of the Kingdom that call this out. Of course, those who worship the franchise as a false idol refuse to see the obvious, and squeal when anyone identifies it for what it is.

As you complete "Shrines" in the game, you effectively pray to Baphomet. I was so creeped out by this clandestine indoctrination that I got rid of my Switch after this Rauru-Baphomet imagery clicked for me as more than just stylistic art direction on the developers' part; rather intentional inculcation.
