In what can only be described as yet another misguided attempt to "save" the Star Trek franchise by targeting demographics that have never shown interest in it, Alex Kurtzman's Secret Hideout is reportedly developing "Star Trek: Starfleet Scouts," an animated series aimed at young children that will air as YouTube shorts.

Kurtzman is a loser riding the coat tails of others. His days of this are looking to come to an end b/c eventually those loosing $$ will say no more.

Prodigy was the only Star Trek that was watchable. It was actually serious trek. Everything else is dribble that needs to be fed to tribbles.
