Hasn't the bloated female ever heard the old saying, "Don't offend half of your fanbase."
Sellick and Jordan knew that if they offended half of the people who watch them, they wouldn't hear the end of it.
Entertainment isn't inherently political. It's entertainment. You want to invite the people who watch you to live in a make believe world for an hour or two. If you can't swallow your shallow ideology, then you don't need to be an actress.
The people who insist all art or entertainment is political are the ones who have no clue about the rest of the world. There is no 'politics' to a good chunk of most entertainment, if and if there is some intended, most of it goes unreceived by the audience, who is just watching Two Broke Grils because laughs and not thinking about trade unionism or feminism or whatever the fuck.
The reason any actor with a brain would stay out of politics is a) he’s an actor and b) because he has a brain he won’t agree with the insane nonsense that is the approved set of views in Hollywood and New York and c) if he gets involved with politics his career won’t last long. There are oodles of examples. James Woods, Roseanne Barr, Stacey Dash…
M'eh. I'm not sure why Hasan brought up those two names in particular, but Selleck's had some political involvement in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if he considers himself an old-fashioned, pre-MAGA Republican who doesn't feel, at this point in his life, like taking shots from either Trump's partisans or his critics on the right.
On the other hand, she's probably just right about Jordan, and wouldn't be anywhere close to being the first person to call him a coward when it comes to politics. I'd be shocked if this got enough play to draw either of them out, though.
Jordan is an interesting target because it shows she doesn't know fuck all about politics herself. MJ is the GOAT to like 99% of the people in the world, even normies who don't follow sports know of him as being deified. Attacking him from the left feels stupid and more likely to alienate target voting demos (like, you know, young men and blacks) who revere him for his on-court legacy and for creating an iconic sportswear and shoe brand.
Braindead c u n t hits wall desperate for attention needs new jobs will say or do anything. What bimbo idiot. Her word salad is a mish mash of gobbleygook.
How is it wrong to protect your livelihood? Don't you owe that to the people who depend on you, i.e. your family? This actress has trashed her career, if she ever had one, so she can go for broke. At this point, she's got nothing to lose.
She got inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame? Boy, they have low, low standards.
Selleck and Jordan are probably too busy counting their money and relaxing in the lifestyle they earned thanks to lifelong successful careers. They are the household names who choose not to abuse their "platform", a platform she could only dream of, and spout their political views.
Besides, a few years ago there was a story that came out saying the view of the celeb had little to do with voting habits. It was that poll that made Jennifer Lawrence decide to keep her nose to acting instead of whatever influence she though she had.
Plus, and I'm not sure where I saw it, but Selleck was cornered years ago on the Rosie O'Donnell show after he did an ad for the NRA. She tried to get him get him to renounce his view or the 2nd amendment or the NRA but he wouldn't. Since then, he has rarely taken a political stance.
From her appearance this chick is living off ramen paid for by the residuals from a bit part in the not-missed failed Star Trek: Academy.
Modern actors. Why am I not surprised? She's a really good actor… she should just stick to that instead of sounding like a cretin. (And maybe get a new agent?)
Who?

Why would Selleck or Jordan respond to irrelevant trash like Tatiana Mostslovenly??
This indicates that she has no money to protect.

Tatiana Maslany is simply pure evil.
Amazing she married a cis huwyte, given her obsession with race and trans politics.

This has 'you might not be interested in the dialectic, but the dialectic is interested in you' written all over it
Every time there's a major world event I find myself wondering what Tatiana Maslany thinks about it

I look forward to her being replaced by AI.
Well, let me just say that there's a reason why I don't meddle and dabble in quantum physics.
I'm not qualified, so I stick to what I know.

Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.
In this case, Angels don't fear to tread, they don't see the point in going there.
