James Gunn, the director of the upcoming Superman film recently claimed that his faith in God pushed him to start finishing projects and led him to success, but claimed that God does not care if you believe in Him.This Substack is reader-supported.
Interesting how modernists insist on having their cake and eating it too. God gave him a personal guiding message...also He doesn't care what people think... I've seen this kind of word wiggling to avoid conflict many times by highly agreeable people who are spiritual. They want to believe thier own beliefs (okay), and also never ever argue with anyone about beliefs (hmm).
I would hope more people would come to God, but considering that Gunn is a pathological liar, I think he's merely doing this to court Christians into the DC films.
Pagans believe in a god or any god or multiple gods. The pursuit of Christ, a relationship with Jesus is a whole another level. He is famous. He has clout. What is he doing for the Lord?
Looks like the ususal hollwood middleschool understanding of God.
