When you let chimps off the leash. They go feral.

Tim Russ is a full blown totalitarian. He clearly wants a communist wasteland.

We have fallen so far from "United States" I doubt the framers could even concieve the shape of it.

We are supposed to be a coalition of states working together in common purpose, not "states in name only," homogeneous and under the thumb of an all powerful and tyrannical federal government.

If Texans elect representatives who then pass laws to bring God back into the classroom, and the Texan population finds that acceptable, wanted even, who is this toolbag to say otherwise?

California can teach atheism and degeneracy if that's what their population wants, and he can live there quite happily with his fellow heathens. Why bother and try to enforce your will upon Texans? (We know why.)

States determine state laws and we should have 50 such distinctly governed STATES, not 50 identical Federal territories.

Assuming, in both cases, that free and fair elections mirror what the populations want, but that is a whole nother topic.

I'm not sure who's a nuttier leftard, Russ or Picardo.

What is wrong with this asshole? It's not like I or anyone else goes around bashing his Satan-ism left and right.

Does satan loving Tuvok live in Texas? What an idiot. Like anyone cares what he thinks.

Did Star Trek specifically search out socially disruptive people to cast in their shows? I can't remember too many dumb comments from the surviving actors from OG ST; mostly Sulu. Every version seems to have a couple that come out of the woodwork to bitch about something conservatives are doing. Well, until Nu Trek where almost all of them are dumb and don't have any problems letting us know.

I'd say the problem is social media but there's plenty of traditional broadcast and paper reporting on what these idiots say.

Your response to Russ is well reasoned and stated. I appreciate the clarity and pointing out how each point was so wrong and emotionally unhinged. Thank you

I don't know what the problem is. If they're all just stories, what's wrong with telling children stories?

He's a good actor, but as a commentator, a mindless ideologue and chowderhead.

So ignorant--this is why these things need to be taught in school! The stories of David, Daniel, and Exodus are from the Torah and the Tanakh, which according to the Quran are the word of God given to the Jews. All three Abrahamic religions agree on these passages, but ol' Tim Russ thinks he's some anti-Christian hero out here.

The Bible is one of the foundational texts of western culture/civilization; not wanting it taught is because he hates the culture/civilization that makes it possible for him to spout his illogical opinion. Just another hollyweird useful idiot doing the marxists' bidding.
