Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters this Friday, and early tracking has it logging the strongest pre-sales of any release since 2021’s No Way Home.
As much as I love this series of Spiderman films, Mark Ruffalo's presence is a bridge too far for me to ever see it in theaters.
I don't separate the art from the artist. Their work is infused with who they are (or pretend to be). That leakage is unavoidable. In Ruffalo's case is not good. It is the leakage you get from eating food with Olestra (IYKYK).

No Way Home was the end of the Holland run for me. I despise Zendaya and won't watch anything with Ruffalo now.
