Just what the public wants, another remake.

Another pointless remake. Hollywood truly is empty of anything original and creative.

The 1971 film was as good as this story can get on screen, no small thanks to its unique director, cast and to the fact the screenplay was done by the novel's author - who was also helping Friedkin during the shooting.

If anything, this is likely to be another attempt at a quick cash grab based on nostalgia, with zero added value or substance. And perhaps with a nauseating hint of modern audience throughout the film.

Scarlett is old now and she married human excrement Colin Jost. She has lost all of her appeal.

Hollywood is Khesterex.

The most terrifying things are the words "new take" and "fresh and bold".

No, no, no!!! Remakes are never better than the original. Still remember coming home from the first showing of the Exorcist in 1973 and my baby daughter started making growling noises in her crib!! Freaked me the F out!!

There is nothing 'fresh' or 'bold' about an unnecessary rehash of a classic film...
