The people of this have such a terrible pedigree that there’s no way they are going to make this work. Jurassic Park Dominion and Rise of Skywalker? Yeah. This is gonna be a disaster.
I realize I’m entering the lion’s den in this comments section, but Hunter Schafer is a known trans-actor and is fantastic. If you didn’t know she was trans, you’d likely not even question her gender or fitness for the role. Just look at the picture you included, she looks the part. Isn’t that what the whole DEI tirade has been about recently? Job qualification? If a casting director considers her for the role based on her appearance and ability to play the role, then that’s all that should matter according to MAGA folk.
This is infuriating, speaking as someone who's seen the games and played them since he was 2 years old, this strikes close to home. Not sure they'll end up dodging the woke-cancer. We're going to invest even more into Indie stories.
Speaking frankly this only makes me all the more resolved to get Brotherhood of the Gemstone out in Novembre all the more (it was inspired by Zelda).
Seeing this and other news, maybe this last gen will be the last great generation of video games. No wonder retro gaming is on the rise if studios keep doing stuff like this. Hopefully, someone sees the backlash and doesn't go through with this.
