Roseanne Barr was not having any of Barack Obama’s attempted defense of Jimmy Kimmel after he was canceled by Disney for lying about Charlie Kirk’s assassin. This Substack is reader-supported.
Planet of the Apes was a seminal movie series for me growing up. I also read the book, which is a completely different story. I read the comics, watched the live and cartoonTV shows. Simply put I am a huge POTA fan. Roseanne was half-right that Serling wrote the screenplay. The screen play that the movie was produced from was written by Mike Wilson after Serling's was set aside. Roseanne was completely wrong that the story was about anti-semitism. I have also encountered the notion that it was an anti-slavery story. It's nice that people want to apply their thoughts, but they'd do well to arrive at an analysis based on some sort of read onthe subject matter. Where Roseanne was spot on the mark is her criticism of Obama and The Left. What she said about Jarrett was also spot on. Many on The Left are exactly what would result as progeny from a union of POTA and The Muslim Brotherhood, especially if the OBGYN or Midwife were Karl Marx.
I have seen zero evidence that the FCC was involved in any way. The decision to pull the show off the airwaves and require an apology both came from broadcast partners, not from the government. Yet countless internet randos implicitly assume the FCC claim is true in order to virtue signal a both-sides-ism.
Fire them all.
No quarter. No second chances. Push the gas pedal harder.
Radical Leftists never cared for free speech in the first place. Barack Obama didn’t.
Roseanne the has been!
