He's a dick, but he's also half-right. There's no scenario where intelligent people with good taste put a soulless, garbage fire of a Jurassic Park movie in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

That doesn't mean the other films were good by comparison, though. Unfortunately it's possible for everything to be bad at the same time.

Superman and Jurassic World have the same domestic take, so is he calling foreigners stupid? And I like how that low IQ, soy-beard consoomer seems to think that movies about magic people in tights punching monsters is somehow so much more intelligent and high brow than the Dino-slop. Bro needs to take a break from the internet and read a book.

Cannot we just admit that all three movies were made for folks who care more about overblown special effects than they do about interesting plots, solid writing and good actors? High IQ or low IQ, the folks paying money for big budget CGI dinosaurs, guys in spandex and big explosions are not seeking the next Cohen brothers film.

I will take a guess some of it is families the kids , they choose dinosaurs over Superman and Fantastic 4 ( assuming kids know who Fantastic 4 are ). Same with the overseas crowds. Superman and F4 are probably more an American thing whereas dinosaurs eating humans is easy to understand.

Could it also be that movies need to be very clear who their target audience is and really go hard on that?

I mean JW knows its audience: people who want a dinosaur spectacle and not much plot so good for them.

Also write better movies - people have been burned too much in the last 5 years with superhero stuff. All slop.

Yes, how DARE you not schlurp up the steaming piles your Neo-Palestinian masters excrete upon the screen, you ungrateful cattle!.

We know Disney buys seats at their movies. "Sold out" and you go in and half or more of the theater is empty.

Same concept in book sales on Amazon: buy a bunch of your own books to boost the visibility algorithm (no, I do not do it).

Take the desire of the producers to push their message-movie a little further. Spend a few hundred for Twitter-bots to post 5-star reviews on X. Elon admitted these exist.

Spend a few hundred to Review-bots to make glowing posts on Rotten Tomatoes? Other "rating" services? Cheap success. Draws the idiots in: "Oh look, the latest goy-slop is getting a 9 out of 10 with the audience! Might as well go see it."

Score.

Do you really want to know the truth? No, you don't. You say you do, but you don't. I've got 50+ years dealing with readers exactly like what we have here at Fandom Pulse. NO, you do not want to know the truth.

Know what happens (and I've seen it)? The little hat tribe guys at the top laugh behind closed doors (and many open ones) that you're all too stupid to get it.

Are they right?

Could it be that Jurassic World had a better plot than supes or F4? Maybe if the shows were well written, well acted, and the actors stopped dissing people, the movies would succeed.

I might go watch JP, but would sleep through it. I've slept through more movies than I've watched.
