Thank God I never watched this show. I'd aged out of the targeted demographic so I neve got invested. But as I see it, this is worse than the last two seasons of Game of Thrones; another series that shit the bed and thus I've lost all interest in. I don't care if and won't bother with anything GoT but if I was a Stranger Things fan, I think this is worse. It borders on fan abuse.
And in 20 years time noone will remeber you, your character or the show. Because you build for the moment, for one specific tiny group, for one specific current message, for on contemporary... you. Not for a story that resonates across the generations. Once you fade, all this will. And for that they gave you an award. How truly sad is that.
