Do not post your mods there. Its filled with perverts and pedos that justify anything for their insane ideology.

I’d say I think my rule going forward would be to simply avoid using spaces like that

Unfortunately this is not at allow surprising. Nexxus has been ideologically infected for over a decade now. I remember going to Nexus shortly after DYING LIGHT 1 debuted in 2013 to locate some mods and that's when I first heard about some of its controversies with removing mods that someone at Nexxus was "offended" by.

What I find puzzling is how a mods platform like this can get away with this, how once it went ideological and stop being pro-customer/gamer how is it a competitor has not come along and kicked Nexus Mods butt to the curb? Is it that there are just not enough users of mods who are bothered by Nexus Mod's getting political or does Nexxus mods have some money behind it making it hard for someone to challenge Nexxus mods? The systems is supposed to work where he who makes the better product wins in the end and yet that doesn't seem to be the case and why is that?
