Godzilla Minus 1 so utterly crushed anything else done with the IP these past several years, it's hard to even care about anything that isn't a follow on to that film.
It's especially difficult when we're talking about big, dumb, Hollywood cgi-fest versions of the IP with miserable writing and characters flatter than the old Toei backdrops.
