After the shitshow that was the second game I doubt many people are looking for another sequel. My guess is that Druckmann planned to make Abby the protagonist in that one, but the reception wasn't what he expected.

I unfortunately played the Last of Us 1 DLC where they made her gay, but at least I didn't bother with the sequel.
Druckman ran The Last of Us into the ground. It's his own fault for caving to the rainbow shit.
