Yeeaaahhhh, Hamill was always left leaning. Unfortunately for him, the left does not have either the honest nor the decent people he thinks there are out there. After all, the left that he supports cheated Biden into office. Not like he had anything to complain then while the country was run into the ground and almost buried. Funny enough, he's not the first or only person to make this claim, and my only answer to those people was "Byyyeee~".
His comments hint at his mindset. It is all feelz-based. Including his responses of "I'll show him by leaving!" and "You can't make ME leave!"
