Brendan Wayne, one of the stunt performers who physically portrays Din Djarin inside the Mandalorian suit, gave an interview to MovieWeb this week and used the opportunity to call a portion of the Star Wars fanbase toxic.
You missed Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which grossed over $1.058 billion worldwide during its theatrical run. Which was the only Disney SW film that didn’t insult the fans.
They couldn't manage to make a profit out of Grogu and his legion of middle-aged female fans, probably because none of them even know what show he's from.

I don't recall any DEI outrage over the movie such as we saw in Asoka or whatever. If toxic fans exist they didn't target this film at all, it was just boring.
It certainly *is* their Star Wars; that's precisely why I'm not getting involved. As a hetero white male, I'd hate to offend them by purchasing a ticket.
