Numerous leftists threw temper tantrums after people criticized the cringe, degenerate, and outright evil inclusion of pronouns in the upcoming Masters of the Universe film.
I am vehemently against pronoun use, and woke culture, but this is intentionally mocking ppl who use them. Everyone who is mad is going to look dumb when they make fun of the pronouns...
He-Man IS the ultimate dude-bro brand... if you don't cater to them this movie is DOA... it's clearly there to make fun of it and ridicule it..
I elaborated my thoughts in another comment, but specifically addressing this:
I got a strong impression, in-context, of implied mocking. That impression comes from general story structure and expectations.
The hero is down on his luck, in a position (job) he hates, he's subjected to endless humiliation, BUT HE HAS A SECRET. No one knows he's really a hero!
Pronouns and awful HR lady felt like tells for what he's suffering, not for what he supports. He's going to become He-Man and get away from all this
It's a basic storytelling concept: the secret prince/princess. Harry Potter did this. No one would say that Harry supported the Durdsley's bad behaviors.
Of course, these retarded fart sniffers might just be setting us up for a rug pull and subverting expectations. I honestly don't trust them enough to properly follow the secret prince story structure without f----ing it up. They may not even understand it at a fundamental level.
Only Leftists defend the cringe, that is pronouns. I swear these Leftists are just dumb Millennials, who like to make excuses for some joke, that wasn’t even funny to begin in.
I'm as anti-woke as they come, but you guys need to just admit you missed the joke. And imagine calling Mark Hemingway of all people a leftist. Lol. Lmao even.

Can you point to evidence from the trailer where it is mocking it?

We are firmly in prove it mode right now.
This was also my impression, but it would not be the first time a MOTU adaptation performed a rug pull.
I am fully behind them mocking pronouns and HR bullshitery IF that is in fact what they are doing.
At this point, the mocking is only implied, not confirmed. They could just be waving this around to trick us into thinking the end product is "based."
I will believe it when/if I see it. Which won't be in the theater regardless. We're in fool me XXXX territory here and all trust is long gone.
