Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Creative Director Daniel Vávra positioned himself as a victim of the culture war as he issued a statement in response to rumors and reports that the game was banned in Saudi Arabia.Fandom Pulse is a reader-supported publication.
“At the same time, it is a ROLE PLAYING GAME, so it is purely up to the player what decisions they make and for all the decisions they make, they are responsible for the consequences that correspond to the morals and social norms of the time."
THAT is a clear cut confirmation that there is a Gay Scene, and the Game is Woke. He is trying to Gaslight and say "we have the OPTION for the Player to be Gay, but WE are not the ones doing it".
It's over, the Game and it's Studio are comprised.........
I never played the first one from what I remember.
I LOVE Swords and Sorcery and Medieval Settings, but the idea of a "Realistic" RPG with a Medieval Setting has always been a stupid idea.
Maybe if they made a more "Realistic" Medieval Fantasy Game I would have cared, but they didn't.
My thing is so many people loved the first one, and this is a full Rug Pull to them. There likely were signs in the first Game, but this is just Next Level Stupid for a Developer of a small IP.
I don't blame Saudi Arabia for blocking the game. In a deeply religious society, they don't want immorality rearing its ugly head. The company going full communist didn't help either.
I wouldn't buy a game that I couldn't talk about.
Amazingly, they push LGBT+ agendas when not many LGBT+ people play their games.
I highly recommend you check out the recent video by YouTuber Endymion about this very topic. He notes that the scene they are referring to, at least publicly, which involves the main character is fabricated as he uses IGNs own video which contains the so called screenshots to debunk the claim that the mc is homosexual. As far as the game is involved, the main villain of the game, the first Kingdom Come and now the sequel, IS a noted homosexual. You also noted in the article that the exact scene is not described by the Saudi source only that they found ‘morally objectionable’ material.
Honestly there is far too much jumping on bandwagons here and not enough waiting til we have details. You hold yourself to a high journalistic standard and I believe you’re doing yourself a disservice by not waiting til we or you have had a chance to actually view the game itself.

This almost seems like a confirmation.
Was going to buy this game but after seeing this not no mo! Extremely tired of woke ideology in video games!

I think you’re jumping the gun here on this.

He's trying to sell me the game. He could have given very simple and straight-forward answers to the questions about this. He chose not to.
Glad I didn't pre-order!
Disappointing
It's definitely confirmation, the game is indeed woke, and not surprising that it progressed to wokeism either.
