Then he has the audacity to say 'both sides are the same'. No. One side wanted a sequel faithful to the first, the other side called him a racist bigot and wanted him to bend the knee. He chose to please the latter out of fear whilst insulting the former safe in the knowledge he would please his bosses.
The article also correctly points out how hilarious it is that he criticises (rightly) The Last of Us 2 when he has done pretty much the same thing, even if not to quite the same extent.
