Eternal Christendom and its host and founder Joshua Charles announced that this week’s Great Rosary Campaign is for the conversion of Star Trek: The Next Generation actor Marina Sirtis, who played Counselor Deanna Troi.
Why Sirtis specifically, I wonder? People like George Takei, Tim Russ, and Robert Picardo seem far worse off, while guys like Shatner and Robert Beltran, generally conservative but not Catholic, are closer "targets" for conversion. Has she said or done something recently to indicate great offense, or alternately, an openness to Catholicism?
I am not religious in any way but I am relatively conservative. And I respect the Christian faith for I share in its values. Marina Sirtis is a lost cause, just like Picardo. On conventions she sides with whatever the extreme leftist propaganda promotes and she can't stop ranting about it.
Michael Dorn on the other hand.. Very relaxed and respectful guy. I know they're good friends but Dorn is just a very different character. He's reserved, respectful.. And I don't know what his personal beliefs are.. But it doesn't matter. Because of how he is. He even admitted "Marina knows just enough about everything to be annoying about it" xD which seemed like his way of teasing his friend with a truth. And it shows that Dorn himself is much more thoughtful before expressing himself.
Anyways, I digress. I don't rly care for this guy fixating on individual actors for "conversion". I don't think it works like that and probably has opposite effect.
I don't care for this at all. It's creepy and lame to fixate on these professional pretenders.
I'm not saying that they're not worth saving, but you don't convert people this way, and probably add fuel to anti-Christian rhetoric and "muh convershun thurapy!" whiners.
No one on our side cares what celebrities think, and no one on their side will be swayed to do anything but cancel anyone that does convert. All this does is inflate celebrity ego and the sense that they are more important than the rest of us.
One soul is one soul, no matter how many TV appearances they do or don't have.
Don't waste time and spiritual energy fighting a battle on their turf with their rules. Instead, focus on some of the hundreds of millions people that need spiritual awakening instead of this performative and fawning endeavor.

He said he's going to do one for Shatner during the week of his birthday in March.

Hey John, good on you for asking us to pray for people.

This should be good.
