Time travel used to mean something in science fiction.
I miss that actions used to have consequences.
If you killed someone, even by accident, it was permenent.
Everything today is feel good and fixable.
It comes from comic books. Brands do this so they can have the Joker back next week and that then permeated culture so that it's IP preservation rather than storytelling.
