As Clown World disintegrates, I think we can expect a lot more of these "Opposing the Establishment Bad, Bad, Very Bad" narratives issuing forth from Hollywood.
I've been to Nottingham and visited Nottingham Castle and saw the Robin Hood statue in the square. I know he's folklore but not happy about Hollywood trashing him. Is it because he's a white male? To me, he'll always be a hero!
I will say that so many of these movies always obsess over power, so that’s a bad sign for me. If they’re so interested in power, perhaps they should support building nuclear power plants which produce a lot of power!
Robin Hood was the Luigi Mangione of his day. Sadly, the fabled Prince of Thieves was NOT on the run for his wealth redistribution program, but for murdering another man out of rage. Life was "cheap" back then. In Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand urged readers to see Robin Hood for what he always was, not a hero of the poor, but an out-and-out thief who stole from people he judged were unworthy of their wealth to give to those he felt deserved it more. In other words, your average leftist. You have no right owning more than one home/car, etc., even if you can pay for it, while even one person is without one. Poverty is obviously always caused by the rich. Right? It can't possibly be caused by the poor themselves. They are always the victims. Robin Hood is the patron saint of righting wrongs by theft.

Watch the Errol Flynn movie instead. It captures the myths of Robin Hood perfectly. Or check out Men in Tights for some decent Robin Hood jokes.

Bonnie & Clyde
Jesse James
Luigi Mangioni
Violent criminals and yet, heroes to some…
This actually sounds like an interesting premise. I'm looking forward to hearing more about this one.
In fairness, the real Robin Hood was probably very murderous, especially if you were a Norman.
Hmmm… not sure what to make of this.
