The press wouldn't cheer if Kid Rock was cast for Jimmi Hendrix.

So, it's not about race swapping: it's about replacement.

Erase history, erase culture, erase white-white marriage, erase white males. What's left?

It is genocide.

Why? 10 lost tribes.

Based on her skin color, she's more Betty Poop.

It occurs to me that skinsuiting serves several purposes, to include *poisoning the well.*

When a demoralized group (American Blacks, Africans) doesn't have heroes or heroines of their own, they steal the icons of other groups and make stupid statements like "Blacks created cellphones"

Communist and Satanist don't care about money; they care about Spiritual War. This is meant to demoralize and dispirit you. Solution? Laugh at them, ignore them and go your own way. Vote with your wallet and time! Your time is MORE precious than the paper called FIAT CURRENCY. Find other things...and do that. They don't matter. This evil move doesn't matter, your happiness matter more.

All true. But I just wish that we all could never have even heard about it, so it could dwell in its own oblivion, where it belongs. Even doing an article to warn us all about it only promotes "the message" by being aware of it.

One must face "reality" as it is. That's the difference between the Men and the Women. The men see the world as it is, the good, the bad and the ugly and deal with it. The women cry, complain and whinge until they get their f-ing way. I wish a lot of things. I wish I had a money tree in my back yard I could shake at will. I was 6-2 instead of 5-10, I wish my dick was "porn star" proportions etc., etc., but I have to ask...

"God grant me the serenity; To accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And wisdom to know the difference."

The "message" isn't promoted if you expose it to the light and light is the best disinfectant.

When are we gonna see a white man play Martin Luther King or Malcom X?

LOL, of COURSE they're swapping it.

SMDH.... something else to add to my 'Things I'm Not Ever Going To Watch' List

I'm somewhat surprised that people who would do this even know who Betty Boop is. As far as I know, the only people who do are old nostalgia mavens and a handful of animation enthusiasts. (Though I suspect there's an odd following among certain types of perverts, which would explain my initial statement.)

This is such a shame. I have enjoyed Brunsons ABBOTT ELEMENTARY series since day 1 and it would not be as good as it is if they race swapped one of the characters in it so this is surprising to me. With as honest a take as Brunsons ABBOTT ELEMNTARY has been with issues in the black community, specifically with public education, I'm surprised to see her embracing something so controversial like this.

I for one would much rather see her do another comedy series set in the black community then whatever this is likely to be.

The film press are the true racists, since they always cheer for race-swaps. I bet this film will not get made.

Will a pit bull play her beagle puppy, Pudgey?

Betty Boon. She-boon.

No one is going to watch that POC POS film. No one. What a waste of cinematic resources.

Gonna flop. I think even though they rightfully view Betty Boob as niche, they vastly underestimate how truly unknown that name is. The recognizability of the character, probably to younger US audiences but certainly to the majority of international audiences, is almost 100% carried by the visual depiction. Great marketing move to do a 180 on that one. Has the "the audience was wrong!" press release been written, yet?

Why don't they race swap Confederate Generals in Movies? I wonder why:)

If you look far enough back BB was originally based on a black teenager named EstherJones. who preformed at the Cotton Club in NYC. The white singer (Helen Kane) who the character was based on saw the act and more or less copied it. Her act was more or less copied to become Betty Boop. All that's Interesting has a good write up on it. She sued but Jones manager testified against Kane at the trial and she lost. So it seems to have gone full circle now, more or less.
