Historian Raymond Ibrahim recently discussed why filmmakers are constantly smearing Christian heroes in reaction to a Netflix series that trashes Hungarian hero and Christian warrior John Hunyadi.
This guy is awesome. I do feel we need to give up on Hollywood and all these IPs... What's the point anyway, none of them have Christ in them. We should make our own stories, as some of us do, and those that don't, support us. It's so frustrating that we are allowing the pagans to control the narrative even on our own beloved brothers and sisters.
But...BUT... whatever you do, do it in Church, fellowship and work with others in your church to create. Whatever ministry you have, through Church, must you do it. Acts to Revelations is this. It is gang warfare out there and we're the only ones not taking what Jesus wants us to do. Join his gang, evangelize with his gang, plant churches for his gang!
I blame the "History" Channel and the show Vikings, which started there. Blatantly ahistorical, anti-Christian, and anachronistic, but packaged as accurate. The modern wave of modernist period dramas masquerading as real history started there.
