Stop right there! You’ve just validated the race-swappers’ actions by using the “race isn’t mentioned in the original work” card. If it takes place in a medieval setting and time period, then the characters (the rest, unless otherwise mentioned) are white by default. Some things are just implied by a story’s setting.

I would say less than 13% of the population wants this. Likely 8%. Four percent is POC and the other four % is liberal white women.
