I totally agree. I remember seeing this in college in the early nineties. Wokeness was called political correctness back then. I remember thinking naively that once the woketards graduated and entered the real world, their false beliefs would fall away upon contact with reality. I was dead wrong. They clung to those beliefs like gospel. Now we're stuck with an entire generation of woketards who have risen to levels of prominence in society. God only knows where this ends.
Paragraph 2 is right, once they let regressive people take over education and teach what they called "progressivism" that's where a lot of this started.

Much abetted by corporate takeovers where these woke execs only hire woke employees.
If you're not woke, you're "problematic," meaning, they will avoid hiring such a person as they think they'll be hurt by it.
It's time to never hire a woke person. If it's legal for them, it's legal for us.
