Anson Mount being in it already makes me want to skip this movie. Sorry, Chuck Dixon.

I did see the original Animated Series episode with Bane and it was quite good. Batman's victory in that episode involved a hilariously grotesque scene.

(It was interesting to note the original super-soldier animated Bane vs. the Christopher Nolan one.)

I'll wait on both new movies until reviews come out.

Sad to hear what Mrs. Willis has become: The writing was on the wall at Sasquan back in the 'teens. Is corporate-pub propping up her books now, because she can be counted on as a reliable boomer-left reactionary? Sad: She didn't need the ticket, but sold her soul anyway.

Go back and read The Doomsday Book, or Light Raid, or her collection of short stories in Firewatch, particularly "The Last of the Winnebagos" and "Even the Queen"--the latter story being a hilarious send up of proto-Puppy-kicking feminists trying to sideline SF writers who refused to stay in the "women's issue" ghetto.

The SJW Xanatos gambit is once they've corrupted something good, beautiful, or true, they get the next gen to claim it was always bad.

Don't let them ensnare you: check with a friendly Elder about the Before Times.

Wonder if Bane and Batman will have a sex scene before the other backbreaking.

I always thought the fun thing about Batman was you had Wayne Family Adventures and stuff like The Killing Joke at the same time.

I'll watch this, but Anson Mount is an absolute turd.

I grew up during the bronze age, the Knightfall story line is what ended my twenty year run of Batman comics. The character had become unrecognizable to me.
