Actress Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in Disney’s Star Wars sequel trilogy, shared an update on when she might return to the franchise revealing it will be “sooner rather than later.”
Please, release this Rey movie, make it a trilogy. Release the Taika trainwreck too. Tian Johnson also deserves to have his trilogy made.

Intresting how Kennedy talks about everyone else's projects but skips the Rey film entirely. The gap between "sooner rather than later" and radio silence from Lucasfilm for 3 years is pretty telling. I remember when Obaid-Chinoy was announced and there was some momentm, but it feels like the project just evaporated without anyone officially saying so.
