My wife has been forcing me to watch Handmaids Tale lately. The show is ugly, not fun to watch, has the worst world building of any show I’ve ever seen, but hilariously it is intensely anti surrogacy. The birth mothers of surrogate children are presented as exclusively heroic and the ladies who end up with the children are doofuses and evil. It’s like hardcore lefties can’t help but be conservative in their storytelling sometimes.
Surrogacy is creepy. Ms. Rachel is creepy. "Pride" is extra creepy.
She could've adopted a kid rather than hire a woman's body to create and steal one. Either way parents should keep their kids away from her influence.
