He supposed that what if some party gathered together all of the discarded, rotting pieces of Theseus's Ship as they were replaced and built a second ship, so that one could say there were two of Theseus's Ships. Which then would be the true Theseus's Ship?
It's been a very long time since I properly read up on it, but I seem to recall the argument (not necessarily from Hobbes) for the replacement ship being that it preserved the form and function of the thing, while the rotting one could do neither, but it held the essence, or immutable spirit, of the thing.
I would go with Rebel Wolves over CDPR, as I would follow the spirit of the studio, even if it has lost the name, the building, and the IP.
