People will ask "Who could be doing this? WHO?"

Rhymes with.

Been saying this for 40 years. Just after coming out of Hollywood.

Of course, all this is directly patterned on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Pretty prescient for a "work of fiction" is it not?

The very first trick in advertising something reprehensible or distasteful = SMILE. So many people fall for it. TV takes it further = HUMOR. Make it a joke and get people laughing. Eventually they'll embrace it.

Men did not commonly wear T-Shirts until they saw Clark Gable wearing one in IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT. Of course Hollywood manipulates our social behavior. What accounted for the HUGE interest in Davy Crockett in the 1950s? Did a new book come out? No . . .

Only if you're dumb enough to buy into their worldview. I never became commie watching all those dystopian "anti capitalist" sci-fi that hollywood spewed out.

Strength of character, and a belief system that isn't predicated on things that change with the wind are a good start. Candace still has problems with the moon landing... so I take her critiques with a grain of salt the size of Gibraltar.

Most Americans do not have what you are talking about to resist it. But we are working on changing that.

It is not necessary to "buy in" to lies. Constant repetitive exposure erodes the moral foundation standing in opposition to said lies.

You bring up a good point. The danger in opposition being too aggressive (not necessarily incorrect, but in your face so to speak) turns off people who are confused and otherwise might be receptive to a change of worldview towards something that isn't full of logical holes and silliness (like Owens and her ilk.)

The reason we see fringe ideas take root are people who the average person trusts amplifying the idea to a level it should never get to. If there was a way to be on point and truthful while providing a counter for the "celebrity endorsement" of idiocy... we'd go a long way to cementing more and better critical thinking.

It would be a good start, because it could become exponential as it grows... person to person, group to group. :)

I think we can all do our part to prevent the enstupification (heh) of Americans. I know public schools are a bust in that regard. They teach you how to be a good employee... not to question the status quo and "your betters."

Deprogramming won't be easy, of course... every little bit helps.

I wouldn't exactly characterize Michael Bay's PEARL HARBOR as a "cinematic masterpiece." Someone should send her a Blu-Ray of TORA, TORA, TORA. Not a cinematic masterpiece either but a much more historical re-enactment without the CGI-fest of ridiculous dog fights and impossible aerial maneuvers.

Obsessed with Image, they cannot comprehend Likeness!

Owens is a bit of a crank, but I agree with her on this point. Hollywood and the music industry pick and choose who they make famous based on (1) who participates in Diddy parties and (2) what message they promote. As just one example, there are so many talented black musicians in America; yet, "for some reason," only the ones who promote violence and promiscuity are given record deals...

It's called predictive programming. Anyway, who created Hollywood Candace? Of course she'll never reveal that.

She talks about it every livestream, she is researching this topic and constantly recommends the books Chaos and Hollywood Babylon, both revealing secrets of the theme

Augustus (Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus) tried social engineering with the bachelor tax. It failed. Who has the wealth, power, influence and wisdom of Augustus among us now? Anyone who tries will fail, thou damage will be done.

B1234's avatar

It doesn't always fail. The Mongolians have figured out that the social engineering carrot (giving women mother second class and first class public awards for having children( works a lot better than the Roman stick.

Yes carrot is better than stick.
