Very obscure character from one of the Golden Super Adventure books back in the 80s ("Secret of the Dragon's Egg," which I got exactly forty years ago yesterday :) ). Given his appearance here and in the Netflix animated series (IIRC), I think Mattel's pushing him in as nostalgia bait.
