Honestly I think it was her shitting all over the original that did it. Let’s be real men were never going to flock to this movie in droves anyway. Hardcore adult Disney fans did not appreciate those comments at all and other than families with kids they make up the bulk of the audience for these releases. To be honest this film does little to appeal to families with kids which ostensibly is the main audience. No matter how much feminists want to deny it and scream that it’s socialization young girls want to be “pretty” and they want a Prince Charming. Watch this movie with creepy CGI and a weird looking Snow White strive to achieve her full leadership potential doesn’t resonate with five year old girls like be pretty and get rescued by the Prince does.
That boat sank the minute it sailed. When she said "Men don't need to see the film," and "This princess don't need no saving," she doomed her movie.
