Well, drat! I was totally going to go, but now I'm too scared of all the diseases there to risk it.

Considering the creatures attending, there will be a lot of weird conditions around. Some even real. And all those imuno-supressed individuals are germ repositories 🧐🤔😱

I am completely in favor of all individuals still willing to go to worlcon (emphasis on con) getting vaccinated. And boosted as often as possible. 😁😈😈

Just ignore those conspiracy theorists talking about clot shots. 😉😁😁

It's also rather interesting that alot of transgendered people I've seen in real life and in pictures at cons seem to be the most hardcore about endless masking outside of the house. I'm thinking nowadays it's not about health but about signaling to their medical overlords in public their loyalty to big pharma as it's the only business that allows them to be transgendered in the first place.

It also hides their features, a win for those pretending to be someone else.

Let the sheep get jabbed for their stupid doughnut.

I never wore a mask. Got kicked out of every store in town except one Safeway. It's the only store I frequent now.

Not wearing the slave mask. You know these comb-overs are still wearing their masks for their once-a-week shower.

It is instructive how the facts-based crowd will only accept their "facts." Observe what they do; ignore what they say.

Only the mentally ill continue to push the COVID shots and masks on people.

But looking at the picture, maybe it's a good thing all those people are getting the clotshots.

Sadly, there are those who were bombarded with propaganda and are unable to see anything else. It's _really_ hard to fight that and doesn't have anything to do with mental illness, but psyops for those people. (And yes - those who are not well mentally do continue to push measures that don't work or actually harm people.)

They sure are smarter and better informed than the Mundanes, or so they'll tell you.

Are they getting Covid-20?

What’s going on over there?

There's something odd in the way some of these posts don't mention COVID by name. Perhaps they realize it's just not scary anymore.

>we were masked at the con

>we got COVID

>please wear masks to avoid getting COVID

We're still doing this bullshit in 2025?

You'd think at _some_ point, people would start wondering "if I have ALL of my shots _and_ I'm wearing a fitted N95 mask and _still_ got sick, do these measures actually work?". If you have "protection" that only works if everyone does the same thing, is it actually protection? And if you all use that same protection and people still get sick, but "not as bad as it could have been" ... what does that say about said protection?

Happily, haven't seen this from any of the X accounts I follow about GenCon and didn't even know "Worldcon" was a thing until recently. :)

I don't think a mask is going to work against con funk.

Foolish people acting foolishly.

If you’re not rolling with a biohazard level A suit you might as well be injecting covid straight into your veins!

They're sad, sick people.

Though they probably don't have the 'Vid

Around that crowd, I would wear a N95, just in case of airborne monkeypox and AIDS.
