Donald Trump has been personally getting involved in trying to rescue Hollywood by restoring the male-centric action movies of the 1980s that everyone loves and are a hallmark of American culture. Multiple reports are coming out about Trump personally leveraging his relationship with Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, who has taken a huge interest in restoring the media in multiple ways.
Trump has always been very involved with Hollywood, from appearances in Home Alone 2 and other movies to his run on The Apprentice; television and media have been a large part of his empire. Only since he decided to run for president did the media turn on him, as he wasn’t supposed to interfere with the succession plans of both the Democratic and Republican parties, which seemed to work in tandem against him.
While in his 2016 term and his 2020 shadow term he didn’t have the leverage to push with the media, as Hollywood went off the rails with its extreme woke content, this time around he has made multiple overtures toward Hollywood to try to turn around the American media empire.
