Strange New Worlds has been no stranger to both cringy ideas and crossovers, and after watching the season 3 finale, there are a lot of signs that they intended this season’s “big reveal” to be a Doctor Who crossover that never materialized. While it left the final episode of this year’s Star Trek feeling like something was missing, fans might have dodged a bullet that would have further made both properties look silly.
