USAID, tax breaks, government loans and handouts, ESG investment firms, media propaganda, IP squatting, regulations limiting competition, and straight up money laundering have kept it, and others like it, afloat for far too long.
I hope for nothing less than an enormous market crash and correction that will see 90% of these "developers" out of the industry permanently.
I have somewhat of an inside connection to Ubisoft and I can tell you that the arrogance of the executives at that company is unbelievable. Most every day Joes know that the Corporate Executive world is filled with entitle Ivy league jerks who believe they are superior to the rest of the peasants and Ubiwoke is the king of that with the Gaming Genre. The entire Guillemot family needs to go, all of them and in a very publicly shameful way if Ubisoft is to ever recover.
