The production company for the upcoming Tomb Raider series starring Sophie Turner and being made by Phoebe Waller-Bridge admits the goal of the series is to “reinvent the franchise on a massive scale.”
Someday, some fine day, one hopes that TV, film, and game producers will actually invent something, instead of "re-invent" everything. Or be honest and use the word "ruin" instead.
I enjoyed the original Tomb Raider PC game. It was an innovative idea and fun to play. Follow up games were mostly good but never hit the mark like the first one. Every other media tie-in, like the movies, were complete crap.
Great, Feeble Walrus-Bich unites with Sophie Turnoff to deliver some of the bossiest girlboss shit ever. And no one tunes in.

No thanks. I didn't like the last game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, because all Lara did was boss Jonah around!

And again, they make Lara man-ugly.
