Meredith Placko, the CEO of veteran tabletop game publisher Steve Jackson Games, has abruptly resigned from the company just two years after taking over the role and mere weeks after the company reported significant financial losses.
I have been playing Steve Jackson's games since before SJG existed, back when he wrote games for Metagaming. I would hate to see them go away, but market forces are such that you must adapt or perish.
You took the words from me. I want to fight for them, but it will be a waste if they don't fight for themselves. I really, really hope they figure this out. Could give a crap about the politics, as most of this crap is overblown. Just want them to figure out how to make great games and stay around if possible.

The best thing that could happen to them is bankruptcy, then purchase wholesale by someone who's not going to be woke or financially stupid.
