I knew it! I knew that MAN OF STEEL was the superior Superman film between the 2. Personally I think they should have stuck with the Synder-verse allowing Zach to dop what he originally planned to but the timing was bad with the woke wars gearing up around that time.

We can only hope and pray this is true. It appears that Ellison is a man for cleaning house of useless unproductive crap; something both Star Trek and now the DCU need.
Gun never should have been hired to run the whole show; make a single movie or show like PEACEMAKER then yes but not the whole DCU. Whoever made the call to hire Gunn and I'm assuming that was Discovery head Zaslow, they did it in a desperate rush. You really can't have someone in that role who's going to try and do ":their story version" of existing storylines within the DCU. The reason the first 3 seasons of the MCU were so successful is not because of some genius by Kevin Fiege but because Ike Pearmutter kept Fiege on task, disallowing him to do what he later did starting in phase 4 after Fiege had Igor get rids of Pearmutter. Pearmutter made sure that what was being made would sell merch/toys and that meant NOTY deviating from the source material when at all possible. When going from print to the big screen some changes are inevitable but you don't do stupid stuff like replace the male lead with some 100lb boss babe or replace some feminine sex female lead with a repulsive fat and physically challenged strong woman of color.
Pearmutter was about the $$ while Feige showed eventually that he's all about the ideology, the virtue signaling. Looks like Ellison is the same as Pearmutter.
