The good news for Rainn is that he's helped destroy the entertainment industry. Hollywood is dead. Los Angeles is Detroit. He'll get less and less opportunities, and he'll watch Krasinski continue to outshine him. I watched The Paper and it's not bad. It's just not great.
Ehhh...the original was spastic, overly reliant on sex humor -- basically its only joke -- and commits the worst comedy sin possible, other than being preachy: long stretches of boredom. The American version had its issues, but it hit far more consistently over 9 seasons than the British one did over its handful of episodes and a Christmas special.
