My "meeting" was handled by my mother and aunt (who was a mid-actress in the industry). Fortunately, my mother was a good enough person to allow me the choice, rather than telling me (or not telling me).
I received zero pressure after my decision.
Had a movie part yanked from me a few days later and that was it.
This is a great thing. No more 25% bonus back for Disney filming in the UK. Less mandatory UK propaganda in US films as well. Also has the strong probability of benefitting the craft and service unions in Hollywood -- side effect will be supporting lowest paid people in the industry.
This is likely more about stripping the propaganda than pumping life into Hollywood. Trump may be working on destroying the Woke in Hollywood by smashing the links between Disney & other studios and the UK, Canada, and other countries that inject their politics/propaganda along with their demands in exchange for money.
Indie film makers should take note and ramp up their own productions why Hollywood dies.

American Cinema has done it to itself. Foreign films haven't killed hollywood, communism in the form of LGBT+pedo shit has.
If Trump thinks helping the Hellmouth survive its well-deserved demise will make them love White Americans for once, then maybe he needs to think about why he is being lied to by (and who is ultimately controlling) his employees.
