Peter Jackson wants to bring The Silmarillion to the screen. He confirmed the effort in a recent interview with Deadline, describing active conversations between Warner Bros. and the younger members of the Tolkien estate about licensing rights to J.R.R. Tolkien’s deeper mythology.
